Cobb Salad Recipe

Eating healthy foods with less fat content is one way to keep your weight on track. With lots of vegetables, fresh fruits, a little of dairy products and healthy fats; this meal is all you need for your lunch, breakfast or even dinner. Enjoy a tasty meal with some of the best ingredients that won’t mess up with your body weight.

With all the ingredients and other cooking essentials in place, this meal will be ready in less than 50 minutes. Cobb salad gives you a variety of ingredients to choose from. Here is an all-inclusive cooking direction to get you started.

Place eggs (any number of your choice) in a saucepan then cover it with cold water. Cover then boil the eggs in hot water for about 15 minutes. Remove the eggs from the hot saucepan, cool, peel then you chop.

Put your bacon in a deep skillet then cook until it turns evenly brown. Crumble then set them aside. Add some vegetables to a salad bowl before topping with bacon, chicken strips (grilled), shredded lettuce, avocado or any other topping of your choice.

You can choose to use 2 ounces of chicken strips and 1 boiled egg or try a variety of cheese or its combinations. To get a variety, you can replace the bacon or Avocado with nuts; walnuts or pecans are just perfect.

Ingredients:

4 oz. lettuce of your choice

4 oz. tomatoes (or any other veggies you like)

3 oz. grilled chicken strips

1.5 oz. feta or bleu cheese

1 slice bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 oz. avocado sliced
